Bob Tate, Himself : After a Naval Service Career, returned to North Carolina to settle his family on a horse farm in Southern Pines. He was the first REALTOR to specialize in Horse Farms. Golf and horsemanship had been the sports of his upbringing. His wife introduced him into Fox Hunting and in 1981 he earned his colors. He has been President of the Board of Realtors, Rotary Club and Business Assoc. He served 12 years on the town Planning Board, was Chairman of NCAR Legislative affairs and now serves on the NC State Vet School Foundation Board.
